Orange bitter Essential oil is made from the peel of the plant then turned into orange blood essential oil via cold process extraction. Orange bitter is different to orange sweet as the oranges are smaller and darker in colour.
The aroma of orange bitter essential oil is orangey, bitter and slightly floral. Orange bitter essential oil is used in aromatherapy to lift and boost energy, and lift emotions. Orange bitter essential oil in cosmetics and skincare is used for its aroma; its also used for removing toxins and promoting increased circulation. Orange bitter essential oil in hair care is used for its aroma to scent finished products and also to promote circulation, refreshing the scalp.
Orange Bitter Essential Oil Blends With:
Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, Marjoram, Rosemary, Sage, Melissa, Cypress, Camphor, Peppermint, Myrtle, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Juniper, Bergamot, Lemongrass.
Uses:
Massage oil: Always dilute with a carrier such as almond, grapeseed, coconut, castor or olive oil. Always do a patch test first.
Baths: Simply add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to a nice warm bath.
Diffusers: This product can be used in traditional candle lit oil burners and the modern electric style; simply add a few drops to water.
Candles and cosmetics: This product can be used in candles and in cosmetic formulations; you will need to follow correct recipes and formulas and use the correct amount of ingredients and essential oils.
Storage: Always make sure the lid is left on the bottle after use. Our oils are sold in amber pet or glass bottles to protect from sunlight. Make sure the product is out of reach of children and animals.
Shelf life: All our oils come with a minimum of 12 months shelf life or more.
