Myrtle Essential oil is made from steam distillation of the leaves from the plant part. The aroma of myrtle essential oil is fresh, light and slightly camphorous in aroma.

Myrtle essential oil in aromatherapy is said to create a refreshing feeling with a relaxed mind; it also has clarifying and uplifting abilities.

Myrtle essential oil in cosmetics and skincare is said to provide nourishment to the skin. Moreover, its astringent and antiseptic properties is used to help with muscle pain in massage.

Myrtle Essential oil in hair care is known for its antiseptic, anti-bacterial, and nervine properties, this means that, when applied to the scalp regularly; myrtle essential oil can help reduce stress and invigorate the scalp.

Myrtle Essential Oil Blends With:

Bergamot, Benzoin, Black Pepper, Elemi, Melissa, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Cedarwood, Neroli, Oakmoss, Rose Geranium, Lemon, Orange, Thyme, Cypress, Grapefruit, Myrrh, Frankincense.

Uses:

Massage oil: Always dilute with a carrier such as almond, grapeseed, coconut, castor or olive oil. Always do a patch test first.

Baths: Simply add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to a nice warm bath).

Diffusers: This product can be used in traditional candle lit oil burners and the modern electric style; simply add a few drops to water.

Candles and cosmetics: This product can be used in candles and in cosmetic formulations; you will need to follow correct recipes and formulas and use the correct amount of ingredients and essential oils.

Storage: Always make sure the lid is left on the bottle after use. Our oils are sold in amber pet or glass bottles to protect from sunlight. Make sure the product is out of reach of children and animals.
