Description:

Marjoram Essential oil is made from steam distillation of the flowers from the plant part. In real life, the bush that produces the flowers for the essential oil has a fairly strong aroma; should you happen to be walking past it, it has a woody earthy but also light with subtle spicy sweet undertones.

In aromatherapy, Marjoram oil has a warming action, calming emotions, reducing anxiety and heling calm hyperactive people.

In cosmetics and skincare, not only is marjoram used for its scent, but its also said to help with acting as a replenishing agent. It encourage skin cells to regenerate, leading to a general more natural clean smooth and healthy skin complexion. In haircare, marjoram is used to treat infections of the scalp; often people make a hair rinse with marjoram to provide a deep cleanse revitalize and sooth the scalp and hair. Marjoram is a great all around oil with many uses.

Uses:

Massage oil: Always dilute with a carrier such as almond, grapeseed, coconut, castor or olive oil. Always do a patch test first.

Baths: Simply add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to a nice warm bath.

Diffusers: This product can be used in traditional candle lit oil burners and the modern electric style; simply add a few drops to water.

Candles and cosmetics: This product can be used in candles and in cosmetic formulations; you will need to follow correct recipes and formulas and use the correct amount of ingredients and essential oils.

Storage: Always make sure the lid is left on the bottle after use. Our oils are sold in amber pet or glass bottles to protect from sunlight. Make sure the product is out of reach of children and animals.
